One of the main services that Athena Medical Clinic offers is sleep medicine and we are proud to offer sleep consultations and treatments for sleep disorders for patients. You can be assured knowing your sleep health is in qualified hands. We offer treatments for disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, night terrors, narcolepsy, bed-wetting, sleep walking and more.

Aungela studied nursing at Brenau University and obtained her BSN. She obtained her MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. She has many years in healthcare. In her spare time, she is an active participant in her local church and community. Aungela enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Meredith graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2018 and has been working in the medical field for four years. She enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking and being with her family. She will never turn down a Reese's cup or a good mystery novel.

Monica loves working in the medical field. She enjoys welcoming our patients and attending to their medical needs to make their visits pleasant. She works in the back office. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her cat "kosher the pickle.

Ruthie studied Health Services Administration at Macon State College and continued her education in Medical Billing and Coding at the University of Georgia. She enjoys watching college football, and the Atlanta Braves, and spending time at home with her family and pets.

I’m a newly A-Step certified technician and currently studying for the RPSGT exam. I enjoy spending time with my family and taking care of my four children. I enjoy learning new things and teaching new things to others. My goal is to be the best I can be at everything I pursue.

I received my associate degree in science and graduated in alternative system of medicine from India. I am in the healthcare field since last 21 yrs. I moved to US in 2009 and since then I am working as a polysomnography technologist. I also received RPSGT certificate from BRPT and RST certificate from ABSM. I enjoy working as a polysomnography technologist.
Janet
Janet graduated with a BS (Bachelor of Science) degree in Respiratory Therapy. She has extensive experience in Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Technology. She received her RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) and also is a Registered Respiratory Therapist. She has worked in the medical field since her graduation in 1987 from the Medical College of Georgia. Janet has two children, both in college; in her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis with her son.
